Excerpt from Indigo~The Novel.

The blow shattered his face, sending blood across in a splatter, hitting the other tree. The moon drifted from the clouds, illuminating the night with an ambient glow from behind the grove of trees, peeking curiously at the violent display below. Exposed in the light, the attackers looked around nervously to see if they were visible. Then it slipped back behind another cloud, quietly, giving them cover again. This guy wasn’t worth saving.
