Excerpt from Indigo~The Novel.

"With that realisation the pieces of him that travelled at a distance from the core of the man moved to the centre. The indigo flame that was his namesake grew and flickered with the new awakening that she’d given him with his freedom from her and it was hotter and bluer and brighter, strengthened by the knowledge of himself that he’d gained with her words. He suddenly saw himself for the first time and liked who he saw. He liked the man he was becoming, all aspects of him, and he felt, suddenly new. He didn’t feel scattered and out of sync. He felt centred and strong."

centred and strong... now that's a good way to feel about oneself.
